The Day I Overachieved

Today was robot day.

We started by coloring our robot.

Then we cut the pieces out.

None of those pieces survived the scissoring.

Next we glued the remaining pieces on.

Image

This led to a LOT of fighting over who got to do the gluing.

Finally Bubba decided if he couldn’t have it, no one could.

Several tantrums later, we were able to keep working (keep reading to see the finished product.)

Soon it was time for lunch. The only thing better than making a robot is eating a robot.

Image

After that it was such a beautiful day that we spent a lot of it at a playground.

Lest you think this part of the day failed to live up to the theme…

When we got home we tried to do the robot dance. It lasted two whole hilarious minutes.

The best part about this day is that their mother will someday be able to say “you want to put me in THAT nursing home?? I BUILT YOU A ROBOT!”

You are freaking me out. Someone needs to rescind your Pinterest account. And fast.
But seriously – that Bird tracking activity is adorable and I love the map.
The robot lunch, however, is over the top and you may need to be medicated.

You tell a great story, Rebekah, and I love this sequence of pics and captions. Great fun to read and what lovable actors. Encore.
